About Herzing

Herzing University was one of the first post-secondary institutions founded to train students for the computer industry. Since 1965 business and computer-related education has been the focus of Herzing, even as it grew to encompass ten campuses in the U.S., four campuses in Canada, and the founding of its Online Division, Herzing University Online.

While expanding its campuses, Herzing also diversified its educational programs to include the fields of business management, electronics, health care, graphic design, and public safety. It also raised the level of credentials from not only diplomas, but also bachelors of science degrees and associate of science degrees at all its U.S. campuses, and master's degrees at the Online campus.

The managers and executives of Herzing have been leaders in their respective industries, and Herzing University has been nationally recognized for its community service.

History

The first Herzing campus was founded as a computer programming school in 1965 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by Henry and Suzanne Herzing. Since 1965, Herzing University has grown from a modest classroom to a progressive leader in career education with ten campuses in the U.S., and other affiliated colleges, four of which are in Canada.
