Health Care Management (BSHCM)
A minimum of 60 semester credit hours must be transferred from an associate degree in a health care related discipline from Herzing University or another nationally or regionally accredited college or university. Applicable associated degree disciplines include but are not limited to: laboratory technology, medical assisting, medical billing, medical codinge, medical office administration, nursing, surgical technology, radiologic technology, physical therapist assistant, and therapeutic massage.
This program prepares students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge for entry-level or management positions in health care management as well as various other business enterprises. The curriculum integrates management principles such as accounting and team development with instruction in medical law and ethics issues. Potential job position titles for graduates of this program include medical office manager, client services representative, or clinical services supervisor.
